Laser Acne Treatment

Severe and persistent acne is an emotionally devastating condition. May patients contact our office after exhausting all other options or when faced with the difficult decision of starting the prescription medication Accutane. Some patients show improvement after a series of acne facials and customized protocol of topical products. For more challenging cases, Dr. Bath may recommend a protocol consisting of laser and/or Pelleve radio frequency treatments to bring stubborn acne under control. Multiple sessions will be required for best results. Most common side effects include mild facial redness which generally disappears within one hour of treatment.
